Frame Construction
12/14/16-gauge, galvanized A40 steel tobe break - formed to the designspecifications required. Frames shall befumished knocked down or welded (laserface welded and continuous weldedavailable upon request), ground smooth.Mitered corners have a strong, secure,four-tab interlocking system to maintainneat mitered joints and corers. Standardframe to have 1/2" retums; standard stopheights to be 5/8" high. Soffit dimensionscan vary. Frames can be single or doublerabbeted. Frames will be supplied withwelded on sill anchors.
Installation & Applications
Frames to be installed in accordancewith ANSI A250.11 - 2001. Ourstandard hollow metal frames are to beused in a number of applicationsincluding masonry, wood stud and steelstud construction.Hardware ReinforcementsDP hollow metal frames to be fumishedwith 4 - 1/2" (standard) or 5" (heawyweight) by 7-gauge steel hingereintorcements and be adequatelyreinforced for all hardware. Standard armor parallel closer reinforcements availableupon request. Strike and hingereinforcements are protected by steeldust cover. Single frames are prepared toreceive (3) rubber mutes.
Finish
We offered water-based or oil-basedcolor painting frames, or color powdercoating as well. The client will receive adurable, flow coated, baked on finish. Wemay offer primer paint, full finish paint andpowder coat as all RAL color charts.
Compliance
All our steel trames components complywith ANSI A250.8(R2008). Fire labeling inaccordance with NFPA rules andavallable by WHI (Intertek)
